Deacon Distilleries and its products "Ashwa Liquors" have been created through research and development and are known to reduce the effects of alcohol consumption. Dr B. Srinivasa Amarnath started his profession as an Ayurvedic doctor in 1980, counselling alcoholic patients. With the innovative idea of giving these people something that would benefit them, Amarnath, after 30 years of research, invented Ashwa Liqueurs enriched with herbal alkaloids and processed with miracle herbs. Deacon Distilleries is the first liqueur company to focus on the production of health-promoting liqueurs.

"Deacon" translates from Scottish to mean a skilful and capable master craftsman. The Deancon therefore serves as a tribute to all master craftsmen, regardless of their profession. The whisky is an exquisite blend of smoky Speyside and peaty Islay malt whiskies, which give it its complex, rich and smoky flavours.
