Originally known as "Tatran tea", this tea has its origins in the Tatra Mountains, an impressive part of the Carpathian mountain range in Eastern Europe. In the past, people in this region firmly believed that there was a special medicinal herb for every illness. The ingredients for their "healing potions" were simple and effective: hot water was mixed with honey, garlic, tallow and alcohol to achieve healing effects.

This tradition lives on today in Tatratea liqueur, which uses black tea from India, oak shavings and carefully selected herbs and spices. This modern liqueur preserves the essence of the original recipe and combines it with contemporary flavours.

The Apple & Pear Tea Liqueur is enhanced with natural flavours of apples and pears, which give it its characteristic fruity profile. This liqueur undergoes an elaborate maceration process before being bottled in striking red bottles with a strong alcohol content of 67%.
