Chinaco Tequila is a premium tequila brand that is highly regarded for its quality and craftsmanship. It is produced in the Mexican state of Tamaulipas, known for its rich tequila heritage. Chinaco Tequila is made from 100% blue agave, the traditional tequila plant, and undergoes a meticulous production process to ensure its exceptional flavour.

The brand was founded in 1983 by German Gonzalez, a tequila expert and master distiller. Coming from a family with a long history in the tequila industry, Gonzalez wanted to create a tequila that would bring out the best aspects of the agave.

After the blue agaves have been harvested, cooked and the juice extracted, fermentation and distillation take place. Chinaco Añejo then matures in oak barrels for at least a year. This long maturation period allows the tequila to develop complex flavours as it absorbs the rich properties of the oak.
