Sandeman FINE TAWNY Porto is a classic port wine from the renowned Porto region of Portugal, renowned for its versatility and outstanding quality. Sandeman, one of the oldest port wine houses, has built up an excellent reputation for producing port wines over decades. The FINE TAWNY is made from a selection of traditional grape varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Tinta Barroca, which thrive on the best vineyards in the Douro Valley.
This Tawny Port is matured in oak barrels, which gives it its characteristic variety of flavours and soft, round character. With an alcohol content of 19.5% vol., it is powerful and complex, but at the same time accessible and ideal for a wide variety of occasions. Sandeman FINE TAWNY Porto is an excellent accompaniment to cheese, chocolate and nuts, but is also ideal as a digestif or at social gatherings.
