This special whisky is characterised by the use of a balanced blend of first-fill American ex-bourbon casks and European and American sherry oak casks.

It was developed in collaboration with the renowned Chinese artist Nini Sum, whose work conveys the exact feeling of New Year's Eve: being together with family and friends, reminiscing about old memories and the warm atmosphere of this special evening. She symbolises the time spent together, heartfelt conversations and the breathtaking fireworks in the night sky in the outer part of the packaging. The inside of the Macallan, on the other hand, reflects the hustle and bustle of city life, while the inside of the product epitomises Nini Sum's home.
