The Kracher Winery is situated in the “Seewinkel” region of Burgenland, Austria. Thanks to the warm, humid climate, evaporation from the lake and the evening mists, ideal conditions are created here for Botrytis cinerea, which forms the basis for outstanding sweet wines such as Beerenauslese and Trockenbeerenauslese. Gerhard Kracher continues to run the winery with the same dedication. As well as its famous Trockenbeerenauslesen, the winery also produces Beerenauslesen, Auslesen and Eiswein, as well as small quantities of dry white and red wine, and is regarded as one of Austria’s best-known wineries.

The Kracher Cuvée Spätlese delights with a blend of Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Welschriesling, grown on sandy soil. This sweet wine matures for around 6 months in stainless steel tanks. With a ageing potential until 2036, this wine offers long-lasting enjoyment, ensured by a screw cap.
