El Mayor anchors its tequila tradition deep in the earth. The tequila is made exclusively from high-quality Weber blue agaves that flourish in the rocky lowlands of Jalisco. These plants grow at an altitude of around 2,300 metres, where the mineral-rich sandy soil produces particularly juicy agaves, giving El Mayor Tequila a characteristic taste that reflects the regional warmth of Jalisco.

El Mayor Añejo Tequila, intended for savoury sipping, is aged in white oak barrels for between 18 and 36 months, resulting in a refined and smooth product.
