Beefeater, founded in 1820 by James Burrough in Cale Street, Chelsea, is one of the world's most recognised brands of London Dry Gin. As the only internationally distributed gin that is still distilled entirely in London today, Beefeater represents the close connection to the British capital. The distinctive bottle shows the "Beefeater" - a traditional guardian figure of the Tower of London. These guardians, officially known as "Yeoman Warders", symbolise the historical and cultural wealth of London and embody pride, permanence and the heritage of the city.

First launched in 1993 and relaunched in 2015, Beefeater Crown Jewel London Dry Gin pays homage to the British Crown Jewels in the Tower of London and the famous ravens that guard the site. As a symbol of tradition and excellence, the names of the eight most important ravens are skilfully engraved on the bottle, giving the gin a special historical depth.

Crown Jewel Gin is enhanced with classic Beefeater botanicals, including juniper, angelica root and seeds, coriander seeds, liquorice root, almonds, orris root and orange and lemon peel. In addition, grapefruit peel gives the gin a fresh and citrusy flavour that makes it unmistakable. The careful maceration of the botanicals takes 24 hours, followed by eight hours of distillation.
