The Tomatin Distillery, located on the eastern edge of the Monadhliath Mountains, offers perfect conditions for whisky production. The water used to make Tomatin whisky comes from the Alt-na-Frith Burn, which flows through the nearby hills and is renowned for its purity.

A new highlight enriches the core range of Highland single malt whiskies: the Tomatin 12 Years Old Sherry Cask. This whisky is based on the classic Tomatin 12 Year Old and develops its complex aromas and flavours through twelve years of maturation in sherry casks. The striking design of the new edition, with a bright red exterior and elegant gold foil accents, reflects the multi-layered flavours that the wood releases into the whisky during the maturation process.

Launched on 20 May 2024, this single malt extends the distillery's award-winning core range to a total of six bottlings. Each of these bottlings is matured in different cask types and therefore presents its own distinctive character.

Tomatin 12 Years Old Sherry Cask epitomises exceptional craftsmanship, deep-rooted tradition and the high quality of Highland malt whisky. Its rich flavours, intensified by the sherry casks, make it a special treat for connoisseurs and enthusiasts.
