Patrón Tequila Añejo is a premium añejo tequila from Mexico, with an alcohol content of 40 per cent, available in a 0.7-litre bottle. It is produced exclusively from 100% blue Weber agave, which matures slowly in the highlands of Jalisco and is harvested by hand. Following traditional production methods, this premium Añejo tequila is aged for 12 to 15 months in carefully selected small American white oak casks. The comparatively small casks allow for more intense contact between the distillate and the wood, giving the tequila its exceptional depth, silky texture and complex flavour profile. The term ‘Añejo’ comes from Spanish and means ‘aged’ or ‘old’ – a designation for tequilas that have been aged in casks for at least one year. In Patrón Añejo, this ageing process combines with the unmistakable characteristics of roasted agave and the distillery’s artisanal perfection.


Each barrel selection, with its individual characteristics, contributes to the complexity of the final product. As a result, Patrón Añejo tequila develops intense notes of vanilla, caramel and oak, which blend harmoniously with the natural sweetness of the roasted agave.
