The rum is made from sugar cane juice and water, bringing out its special characteristics at a strong 65% vol. Dark sultanas and fine spices are added through ageing in sherry barrels, which refines its flavour. As it was distilled in 2017 and matured for six years, it has reached a considerable age for a rum. The rum owes its colour exclusively to the influence of the cask, as it has not been coloured.

As it is a single cask bottling, there are only 282 bottles of this bottling, which means that the number of bottles is strictly limited. Given this small quantity, it is advisable to snap it up quickly. If the secret of cask 151 is to be revealed, it is helpful to know that the high alcohol content also allows the rum to be diluted with a little water, which changes the flavour and releases different aromas.
