Rum Cardenalito 9 is a blend of 9 to 10-year-old distillates carefully selected from Central American countries such as Panama, Costa Rica, Guatemala, the Dominican Republic and Guyana. Once imported, the rum is matured and refined in oak and cherry wood barrels in the warehouses in Italy.

Thanks to the special ageing techniques, the quality of the barrels and the unique microclimate in the region, it is possible to significantly enhance the flavours of the rum. These ideal conditions contribute to the rum developing exceptional depth and complexity. The careful selection of distillates and subsequent maturation in Italy results in a harmonious and balanced end product.

The long maturation period in the selected wooden barrels intensifies the flavours and gives the rum a soft texture that sets it apart. The interplay of these factors results in a rum that perfectly emphasises the diversity and sophistication of the raw materials used.
