The Perrier Jouët Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs 2017 Champagne, 12.5% ABV, in a 0.75 l bottle, is regarded as the jewel of the Belle-Epoque collection and the purest embodiment of the Chardonnay style of the renowned House of Perrier Jouët. This exceptional prestige cuvée was originally created from the 1993 vintage and launched to celebrate the new millennium. Since then, it has been one of the Maison’s rarest and most sought-after champagnes. As Perrier Jouët declares a vintage only in near-perfect years, every Belle Epoque bottling is a rarity in Champagne – and the Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs is regarded as the most exclusive of them all.
The 2017 vintage was characterised by stark climatic contrasts. A cold and dry winter was followed by an early start to spring, before periods of frost posed a challenge to the winegrowers. A hot and dry summer, coupled with changeable conditions shortly before the harvest, ultimately resulted in superbly ripened Chardonnay grapes with a particularly pronounced floral character. Produced exclusively from 100% Chardonnay, this cuvée embodies the stylistic elegance, sophistication and silky texture for which Perrier Jouët is renowned worldwide. With an alcohol content of 12.5% vol., this Prestige Blanc de Blancs champagne from France is exceptionally refined, precise and elegant.
