This bottling was matured entirely in Colombian oak (Quercus Humboldtii) - an extremely rare cask wood in the whisky world. This type of oak grows predominantly in the high altitudes of Colombia and gives the whisky its very own, complex flavour profile, which differs significantly from classic maturation in American or European oak.

Founded in 2017, the Isle of Raasay Distillery, located between the Isle of Skye and the Scottish mainland, stands for artisanal production, innovation and a clear focus on origin and terroir. With an alcohol content of 50.7% by volume, no chill-filtration and no colouring, this single malt presents itself in its natural form and with intense expressiveness.
