The Glencadam distillery, founded in 1825 by George Cooper in the Scottish town of Angus, draws its water from the Barry Burn. After the sale to Angus Dundee Plc. in 2003, the distillery expanded its portfolio from a 15-year-old whisky to a complete product line by 2009.

The Glencadam Reserva de Madeira is a premium Highland single malt Scotch whisky that achieves a special depth and complexity through its maturation in Madeira wine casks. The 15-year-old Glencadam Reserva de Madeira, distilled in 2008, first matured in ex-bourbon casks made from American oak before being finished in Madeira wine casks.

These give it rich, fruity notes that harmonise perfectly with the creamy and spicy flavours. Bottled in natural colour and without chill-filtration at 46% vol., this whisky retains its full, unadulterated flavours.
