The Antica Distilleria Domenico Sibona is located in the Roer area in the municipality of Piobesì d'Alba, a few kilometres from Alba.

The special thing about Grappa Sibona is that it has a special distilling licence, the No 1 of the UTF.

Grappa Riserva Numero 1 by Sibona was created to honour the traditional distillation licence number 1, which symbolises the prestige and long history of the distillery. This exquisite grappa is made from a hand-picked cuvée of reserve grappas that have matured for various periods in barrels and tonneaux of different origins and sizes, giving it its impressive complexity and refinement.

The basis of this grappa is Piedmontese marc, which is freshly and carefully selected during the harvest. Distillation takes place exclusively in-house in traditional copper stills, utilising the in-depth knowledge of experienced oenologists and distillers. After an initial maturation in stainless steel tanks, the grappa is refined over a longer period of time in barrels and tonneaux
