In the legendary "No. 1 Vault", the old stone vault on the edge of Loch Indaal, the magical character of Islay and centuries-old traditions come together to create a single malt whisky with complex balance, mild Islay smokiness, maritime minerality and an abundance of fresh stone fruit flavours.

This Bowmore whisky began its maturation in Oloroso sherry casks before reaching its full sweetness and complexity in Pedro Ximénez casks. This unique maturation process creates a harmonious interplay of strong sherry flavours with a rich, sweet note that has been able to develop perfectly over 18 years. The result is a whisky of exceptional depth and unmistakable character, which impresses with its balance of spicy, fruity and sweet nuances.
