The Krug 2011 was produced in a year full of climatic contrasts. The unusual weather conditions resulted in a vintage that delighted the tasting committee with its exciting contrast of power and elegance. For this reason, it was given the nickname ‘Runder Spirit’. The blend comprises 46% Pinot Noir, 37% Chardonnay and 17% Meunier, and impressively combines structure, freshness and finesse.
