This outstanding Gran Reserva comes from the excellent 2004 vintage - one of the best Rioja vintages of recent decades, characterised by optimal climatic conditions and perfectly ripened grapes. The cuvée is predominantly based on Tempranillo, supplemented by classic Rioja varieties such as Graciano and Mazuelo, which provide structure, depth and aromatic complexity.

The long, traditional vinification process includes many years of barrel ageing in American and French oak, followed by equally extensive bottle ageing.
