The Paul Kerschbaum Weingut is one of the leading wineries in Austria. It is located in the Blaufränkisch region of Horitschon in Burgenland. The term "Blaufränkischland" refers to a wine-growing region in central Burgenland, where the Blaufränkisch grape variety is mainly cultivated. Paul Kerschbaum's aim is to produce powerful, long-lasting wines with a woody flavour. In 2011, Paul Kerschbaum placed the production of the wines in the hands of his son Michael.

Kerschbaum Cuvée Impresario is an exquisite red wine composed of the grape varieties Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. After vinification, it matures for 18 months in new oak barrels, which gives it an impressive structure and complexity. The wine is then bottled and sealed with natural cork. With a storage potential of 3 to 5 years, the red wine develops its full flavour during this time, which is characterised by a perfect balance of fruit and spice.
