20 years ago, Hans Schwarz founded the Schwarz Winery on Lake Neusiedl and turned his passion for wine into a success story. Originally working as a butcher, he took the step of turning his hobby into a profession - a decision that quickly earned him recognition in the wine scene. Today, the winery is run with dedication by Hans himself together with his son Michael, who are continuing the family's legacy with a spirit of innovation and experience.

Schwarz THE BUTCHER Blaufränkisch is a single-varietal Blaufränkisch that matures for 12 months in both large wooden barrels and small, used Burgundy barrels. This carefully balanced ageing gives the wine a well-balanced flavour and a harmonious structure. After ageing, the wine is carefully bottled and sealed with a screw cap, which optimally preserves freshness and quality.
