SCHLUMBERGER - STYLE AND TRADITION SINCE 1842.

Schlumberger is the oldest sparkling wine producer in Austria and has stood for quality and craftsmanship since 1842. It is produced according to the Méthode Traditionnelle, a process that originated in Champagne and enables a second fermentation in the bottle. This method ensures a particularly fine perlage and a complex interplay of flavours. Thanks to the long maturation on the lees, the sparkling wine develops a balanced structure and a pleasant creaminess.

The basis of this sparkling wine is the Pinot Noir grape variety, which gives it its characteristic elegance and fruitiness. The grapes grow on soils rich in limestone, marl and loess, which gives the wine a fine minerality. The first fermentation in steel tanks is followed by at least 30 months of maturation on the lees in the bottle, which leads to a harmonious development of flavours.
