The Mezcal MG Mezcal Artesanal 100% Agave Durangensis DOP 45% Vol. 0.7 l is an exclusive Mezcal Artesanal from Mexico, which is produced using strictly traditional methods. It comes from the Durango region, which officially belongs to the D.O.P. (Denominación de Origen Protegida) - a seal of origin that guarantees that this mezcal complies with legal standards and is produced exclusively from recognised agave varieties from the region.


It is based on the rare agave durangensis, which grows in the high altitudes of Durango and takes many years to mature. After harvesting, the piñas (agave hearts) are cooked in earth ovens over a wood fire, which creates the characteristic smokiness. This is followed by crushing using traditional methods, fermentation in open wooden barrels and double distillation in copper stills. Bottled at 45% vol., the result is an authentic, unadulterated mezcal with great aromatic depth. What makes it special is its extreme rarity: this bottling is strictly limited to just 276 bottles worldwide, making it a real rarity for collectors and connoisseurs.
