This exceptional bottling was created in honour of the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II and was first presented on 2 June 1953. The name Royal Salute refers to the traditional 21-gun salute fired at the coronation of a British monarch. To this day, the recipe for the multi-award-winning Signature Blend remains unchanged and stands for royal elegance, exceptional maturity and the highest quality.


Only rare and exceptional Scotch whiskies are used for Royal Salute 21 Years Old, each of which is matured for at least 21 years in selected oak casks. This long maturation period gives the blend its remarkable depth, complexity and balance. The whisky is presented in the iconic sapphire-blue ceramic bottle, inspired by the gemstones of the British Crown Jewels. At 40% ABV, this luxurious blended Scotch whisky impresses with its harmonious combination of fruitiness, sherry notes, spices and elegant oakiness.
