Inspired by the fascinating world of the Maya, this exclusive bottling is dedicated to Xaman, the god of the North Star, whose story is also reflected in the artistically designed label. Made from molasses, this Extra Old Rum combines traditional craftsmanship with exceptional cask maturation. The distillates are first aged for up to 15 years in ex-bourbon casks made from American white oak, before being finished for a further 12 months in rare ceiba wood casks. The wood from the ceiba tree, sacred to the Maya, was personally selected by the Master Blender and lends the rum its unmistakable character.
