The SOMMOS Chardonnay Somontano D.O.P. 2024 is an elegant Spanish white wine from the up-and-coming wine region of Somontano, at the foot of the Pyrenees in Aragón. It is made entirely from the Chardonnay grape variety, which displays a particularly crisp, fresh and terroir-driven profile here. The cool nights and warm days at this altitude lend the grapes exceptional aromatic qualities, whilst the limestone and gravelly soils impart a delicate minerality.


Following careful hand-harvesting, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, ensuring that the Chardonnay’s characteristic freshness, fruit and elegance are preserved. Part of the wine is also aged in barriques to impart additional creaminess and subtle toasted notes. With an alcohol content of 13 % vol., the SOMMOS Chardonnay 2024 combines Mediterranean freshness with international calibre.
