The Polz Pinot Blanc Südsteiermark DAC 2024 is a delicate, elegant white wine that represents the origin and style of southern Styria in a particularly clear way. As part of the region's typical DAC programme, this wine impressively reflects not only the grape variety but also the terroir. The renowned Polz winery, known for its precision and loyalty to its origins, impressively demonstrates with this Pinot Blanc how finely yet full of character this variety can be vinified.
The vines grow on a diverse soil profile of shell limestone, clay, sand, limestone marl and slate, which gives the wine expression, minerality and depth - a true "first impression" of the southern Styrian terroir. The wine is matured gently and at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, which preserves its freshness and varietal character. With an alcohol content of 12.5% vol., a drinking potential until at least 2027 and the practical screw cap, this Pinot Blanc is a reliable companion for many occasions - elegant, clear and long-lasting.
