Description
Description
The Gérard Bertrand La Grande Bleue Méditerranée IGP 2024 is a finely composed organic white wine from the south of France that reflects the beauty, diversity and aromatic expressiveness of the Mediterranean coastal region. It is a tribute to the Mediterranean itself - to its salty freshness, its mineral depth and the abundance of sun-kissed grape varieties.
The cuvée combines five emblematic varieties of the region: Rolle (Vermentino), Grenache Blanc, Viognier, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. These are vinified individually in order to optimise their individual characteristics. The grapes are deliberately harvested in the coolest hours of the morning to preserve their freshness and aromatic clarity. Fermentation takes place at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks, without barrel ageing, which gives the wine its pure, unadulterated fruit and lively minerality. With an alcohol content of 12% vol., an elegant aroma and a light, green shimmer in the glass, this white wine embodies Mediterranean lightness and sophistication in perfect balance.
