The Salzl Chardonnay Premium 2022 is a powerful, complex yet extremely elegant white wine from Burgenland's Seewinkel region - a prime example of masterful craftsmanship and uncompromising quality. Made from 100% Chardonnay, this premium wine shows the full expressiveness of the grape variety and at the same time impressively emphasises the characteristics of the terroir. The vines grow on Paratschernosem soil, a loamy-sandy subsoil with a high gravel content, which gives the wine its dense structure and distinctive minerality.

Alcoholic fermentation takes place at 15 °C in small oak barrels, in which the wine is then matured on the fine lees - including regular stirring (bâtonnage). This traditional method not only lends the Chardonnay Premium a creamy melt, but also plenty of depth and aromatic density. With 14% alcohol by volume, it is powerful and balanced, with impressive ageing potential until at least 2034 if stored optimally.
