Bottled at 45.9% vol., this rarity demonstrates the masterful balance between maritime smokiness, fruity maturity and the gentle complexity of Langs cask ageing. It is matured in a combination of sherry and bourbon casks, which have allowed the flavours of the whisky to develop harmoniously over decades.
Bowmore Distillery, founded in 1779, is the oldest legal distillery on Islay and is known for its finely balanced peatiness. This exclusive 30-year-old single malt shows the typical Bowmore style at its finest: the smoky base note recedes into the background, leaving room for tropical fruit, old wood, spices and a soft sweetness that is wonderfully integrated through the maturation period.
