The St. Kilian Kiliani Edition HEDAN is a special tribute to the distillery's namesake - the Irish missionary St. Kilian, who came to Franconia in the 7th century. This exclusive special edition was created on the occasion of the Kiliani folk festival in Würzburg and combines the craftsmanship of St. Kilian Distillers with regional tradition and modern whisky art.

The HEDAN whisky is produced in the Lower Franconian village of Rüdenau - made entirely from 100% malted barley and double-distilled in original Scottish copper stills. Maturation took place in a combination of ex-bourbon barrels and French oak casks, giving this whisky a pleasant balance of sweetness, wood and spice. Bottled at 46% vol., it is neither chill-filtered nor coloured - an honest, German single malt that combines quality and character.
