Description
AI GALLI Prosecco Extra Dry Millesimato DOC 2024 is a high-quality, single-vintage sparkling wine from the heart of the Veneto region that impresses with its elegance, freshness and clear origin. Made from 100% Glera grapes cultivated in the company's own vineyards in Pramaggiore, this Prosecco represents the Spitz of the AI GALLI range. The vines thrive on medium-density, clayey soils, which give the grapes a fine minerality and aromatic depth.
The grapes for the Millesimato 2024 come exclusively from a single vintage and are selectively harvested by hand. Vinification takes place gently with soft pressing and subsequent fermentation at 18-20 °C on selected yeasts for approx. 10 days. The second fermentation then takes place in pressurised tanks using the Charmat method, whereby the base wine is refined into fine Prosecco at 14-16 °C for around 20 days. After reaching the desired pressure, the wine is cooled to -4 °C to stop the fermentation process and then matures on the fine lees for around a month. This elaborate method guarantees freshness, balance and aromatic precision.
With an alcohol content of 11% vol., this Millesimato is a somewhat stronger representative of its type, but retains its playful lightness and elegance. The 2024 vintage impresses with its clarity, varietal typicity and fine perlage - a Prosecco for discerning connoisseurs.
