This special part of Germany, known for its breathtaking heights and valleys, offers ideal conditions for fruit growing. The Markgräflerland and Staufen in particular, in the mild climate of the foothills, are predestined for the cultivation of top-quality cherries.
Only hand-picked sweet cherries of the old varieties Dollenseppler, Schwarze Schüttler and Benjaminler, which come from the best locations in the Black Forest, are used for Schladerer Kirschwasser. These varieties are known for their intense flavour and aromatic depth, which they develop thanks to the mild but never too harsh climate of the region.
