The Kilchoman 100% Islay 15th Edition Single Malt Scotch Whisky exemplifies the consistent philosophy of the Kilchoman Distillery and embodies the original idea of a single malt produced entirely on Islay. This 15th Edition is released to mark the 2025 barley harvest and is part of the strictly limited 100% Islay Range, which combines the entire production process from barley to bottling on the island. For this bottling, 54 ex-bourbon barrels from the Concerto and Publican barley harvests of 2014 and 2015 were married together. This Islay single malt Scotch whisky was matured for nine years before being bottled at a powerful 50% vol.


The use of Islay-grown barley in combination with a deliberately lower peat content ensures a particularly viscous mouthfeel and clearly sets this edition apart from well-known Kilchoman bottlings such as Machir Bay or Sanaig. The focus here is more on citrus and malty elements, embedded in the distillery's clear house style. As a single farm single malt, this bottling tells the story of land, craft and origin, as the seeding, malting, distillation, maturation and bottling take place entirely on Islay.
