The Krispel Gelber Muskateller Ried Stradener Rosenberg Vulkanland Steiermark DAC 2024 12.5% vol. 0.75 l is an outstanding representative of one of the most popular Styrian grape varieties. Weingut Krispel, known for its terroir-influenced wines and its passion for Styrian cuisine, vinifies a single-vineyard wine from the Ried Stradener Rosenberger. This vineyard is one of the best in Vulkanland Styria: the mineral-rich volcanic and clay soils and the cool microclimate ensure precise fruit, elegance and an unmistakable flavour.
The Gelber Muskateller grape variety is considered a fragrant, aromatic speciality of Styria. For the 2024 vintage, Krispel opted for ageing in stainless steel tanks in order to bring the varietal freshness, fruit and elegance into the glass unadulterated. With 12.5% alcohol by volume, the wine is lively, light-footed and yet structured. Due to its origin from the Stradener Rosenberger vineyard, it not only has clarity, but also depth and minerality.
