Description
The Cà dei Frati Ronchedone Vino Rosso 2022 14% vol. 0.75 l is a red wine with a strong character from Lombardy, more precisely from the southern shore of Lake Garda. Produced by the renowned Cà dei Frati winery, which has been known for centuries for its terroir-influenced wines, it combines elegance, strength and expressiveness in perfect balance.
The cuvée combines the Marzemino, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon grape varieties. The proportion of Marzemino provides fruity depth, Sangiovese brings elegance and flavour, while Cabernet Sauvignon lends structure and strength. The grapes come from morainic soils with a high proportion of limestone and clay - typical of the area around Lake Garda. After a careful harvest, fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with a long maceration period. The wine then matures for 14 months in oak barriques and a further four months in the bottle to develop its complex structure and aromatic complexity.
