The Salzl New Style Chardonnay 2023 is an expressive white wine from Burgenland that perfectly embodies the modern style of Salzl. With its clear structure, elegant power and creamy fullness, it is a Chardonnay of international calibre. The grapes come from Paratschernosem soils, which consist of loamy sand with a high gravel content. This terroir gives the wine its mineral freshness and precise fruit definition.


Vinification was carried out with great care: after alcoholic and malolactic fermentation at 15 °C, the wine matured in small oak barrels on the fine lees, with regular stirring. This technique gives the Chardonnay its creamy texture, fullness and aromatic complexity. It will be ready to drink from 2025 and, if stored optimally, until at least 2033, making it a wine with impressive development potential. With 14% alcohol by volume, the Salzl New Style Chardonnay 2023 combines concentration, elegance and balance in an ideal way.
