The Baron De Ley Rioja Finca Monasterio DOC 2022 is a Spanish red wine with a strong character from the famous Rioja DOCa region and is one of the prestige wines from the renowned Baron de Ley winery. This wine is made predominantly from the Tempranillo grape variety, supplemented by small amounts of Graciano, which give it additional flavour and structure. The grapes come from the single vineyard "Finca Monasterio", which is characterised by chalky and clayey soils and optimal sun exposure.


After careful manual harvesting, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The Baron de Ley Finca Monasterio 2022 then matures for around 18 months in new French oak barriques before undergoing further bottle ageing. This traditional yet modern ageing process gives it strength, elegance and remarkable depth.
