The Gager Quattro Burgenland 2022 is a distinctive Austrian red wine from the central Burgenland region, which embodies all the strength and elegance of this region. It combines the four grape varieties Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Zweigelt to create a cuvée of international calibre. The grapes come from sun-drenched vineyards, characterised by loamy and chalky soils, which give the wine its dense structure and minerality. The Pannonian climate with hot summers and cool nights ensures perfectly ripe berries with intense flavour and lively freshness.


After selective hand-picking, the grapes are vinified with the utmost care. The Quattro then matures for 18 months in small oak barrels (barriques), which gives it additional complexity, depth and fine roasted flavours. With an alcohol content of 14.5 % vol. and classically sealed with natural cork, it is a long-lasting wine with great ageing potential.
