Sauza Hacienda Reposado is made from 100% blue Weber agave (Agave Tequilana Weber Azul), which thrives in the mineral-rich soils of Jalisco. After harvesting, the agave hearts are gently cooked, fermented and distilled twice. The tequila is then matured for several months in oak barrels, which gives it its golden colour and characteristic aromas of vanilla, caramel and oak. This barrel ageing gives it its soft, rounded character and makes it an ideal tequila for both pure enjoyment and for classic cocktails.
