The 1800 Tequila Guachi Monton AÑEJO 100% Agave 40% Vol. 0.7 l + GB is an exceptional añejo tequila from Mexico that combines traditional tequila production with modern barrel art. Only 100% blue Weber agaves grown on the distillery's own family ranches are used to produce this premium tequila from Jalisco. The agaves thrive in the highlands of Jalisco on mineral-rich red clay soil and take around eight years to fully ripen. They are then harvested by hand and carefully selected before being used in traditional tequila production. The historic agave landscape of Jalisco and the traditional tequila production facilities have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2006, which emphasises the cultural significance of this spirit.


The 1800 Guachi Monton Añejo Tequila matures for at least 12 months in American and French oak barrels, developing a complex structure with soft wood flavours. The 100% agave tequila is then given a special finish in barrels in which a tequila-based orange liqueur was previously stored. This additional maturation gives the Añejo tequila an elegant citrus flavour and creates a harmonious combination of vanilla, caramel, oak and fine spices. The presentation of this premium tequila is also exceptional: the striking red ceramic bottle with wooden stopper takes up the shape of traditional Mexican pyramids and honours the historic Los Guachimontones, a UNESCO-protected archaeological site in Jalisco.
