In addition to the intense freshness of California orange citrus, exotic ingredients such as Chinese lime, grapefruit, kaffir lime and the eponymous Chinese gunpowder tea create a complex and fresh interplay of flavours. The gunpowder tea adds slightly smoky and peppery nuances and gives this Irish premium gin its unmistakable character. The botanicals are slowly distilled in medieval copper stills, with selected ingredients being further refined in the infusion basket.
