The Gancia Asti DOCG 7.5% vol. is a classic, finely sparkling Italian sparkling wine from the heart of Piedmont that epitomises pure joie de vivre, freshness and aromatic elegance. This fine Asti is produced by the traditional Gancia winery, which has been one of the pioneers of sparkling wine production in Italy since 1850 and is considered the founder of the Asti tradition. The wine is produced exclusively from 100% Moscato Bianco, the queen of aromatic grape varieties, whose fine nutmeg flavour gives this Asti its unmistakable character.

The grapes come from the sun-drenched hills around Canelli, where calcareous and sandy soils create ideal conditions for aromatic, juicy wines. After gentle manual harvesting, fermentation takes place using the Charmat method in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature in order to preserve the fresh primary flavours of the Moscato grape. The result is a finely sparkling, fruit-accentuated Asti with a seductive fragrance, pleasant sweetness and refreshing lightness - an authentic expression of Piedmontese craftsmanship.
