The Scheiblhofer Big John Cuvée Reserve 2023 with 14% vol. in a 1.5-litre magnum bottle including gift box is an opulent, powerful red wine cuvée from Burgenland and is one of Scheiblhofer's most distinctive wines. The cuvée is composed of the Zweigelt, Cabernet Sauvignon and Pinot Noir grape varieties and aged for 12 months in new American barriques, which gives it its intense, distinctive character.


The 2023 vintage presents itself in a particularly dense, extract-rich form and displays the typical Big John style: powerful, structured and with an international flavour. The combination of ripe grapes, American oak and the Langs maturation period results in a multi-layered, complex cuvée with impressive depth. Due to the slow development typical of magnums, the wine has a storage potential until 2035. Closed with a natural cork, this reserve is ideal for special occasions, festive evenings and lovers of characterful, concentrated red wines.
