The Hammeken Cellars EL GRINGO Dark Red Tempranillo 2024 with 14% vol. in a 0.75-litre bottle is a powerful, modern red wine from Spain made exclusively from 100% Tempranillo grapes. The grapes are harvested at optimum ripeness, resulting in an intense, colourful and expressive wine. The wine is matured for 4 months in French and American oak barrels that were filled one to two years previously. This gives the wine structure, flavour and aromatic complexity without overpowering the fruit-driven style.


The 2024 vintage presents itself with impressive depth of colour, pronounced fruit and a modern, full-bodied texture. The combination of dark berry fruit, subtle roasted notes and creamy wood accents gives the El Gringo Dark Red an opulent, harmonious yet clear style.
