The Bottega BRUNELLO DI MONTALCINO DOCG 2020 is a powerful yet elegant premium Tuscan red wine that impressively embodies the great tradition of the Brunello di Montalcino DOCG appellation. Produced by the renowned Bottega winery, this Brunello is made exclusively from the Sangiovese grape variety, which thrives in the unique microclimate around Montalcino. The combination of well-drained soils, warm days and cool nights lends the wine structure, depth and exceptional ageing potential.


Vinification begins with a hand-harvest to select only the very best grapes. After destemming and gentle pressing, fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, which allows the varietal aromas to be precisely brought out. The wine is then aged for at least 24 months in large oak barrels, where it develops complexity, tannic structure and balance. Further ageing in the bottle rounds off the profile and ensures a harmonious overall character. With an alcohol content of 14.5% vol., this 2020 Brunello di Montalcino is powerful, well-balanced and offers excellent ageing potential, making it ideal for discerning connoisseurs of classic Italian red wines.
