The Tomatin 14 Years Old PORT CASKS Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky 46% Vol. 0.7 l is an elegant Highland single malt Scotch whisky that combines the classic style of the Tomatin Distillery with a special cask finish. After maturing in traditional bourbon casks, this Tomatin 14 Years Old is given a finish in selected port casks, developing fruity depth and additional complexity. This bottling replaces the distillery's previous 15-year-old whisky and extends the ageing range of the Tomatin single malt range. Historically, Tomatin was once the largest malt whisky distillery in Scotland with 23 stills, but today the distillery deliberately produces at a slower pace with only four pot stills and focuses on high-quality Highland single malt whiskies with a distinct balance and character.


The Tomatin 14 Years Old Port Casks 46% vol. stands for traditional whisky production combined with modern sustainability measures. The distillery operates an environmentally friendly steam boiler fuelled by locally produced wood pellets, with two new trees planted for every one felled. The combination of bourbon cask maturation and port wine finish gives this Highland single malt with port cask finish an elegant structure with fruity and nutty nuances. The result is a multi-layered Tomatin Single Malt 14 Year Old that harmoniously combines fruitiness, sweetness and spice.
