Description
The Frauwallner Morillon Vulkanland Steiermark DAC 2025 12.5% vol. 0.75 l is a precise, terroir-influenced Morillon from Styria that impressively reflects the mineral style of the Vulkanland Steiermark DAC. The renowned Frauwallner winery stands for natural viticulture, selective harvesting and a clear, elegant signature that authentically expresses the origin and grape variety. As a classic Styrian DAC white wine, this vintage is characterised by structure, freshness and expression.
The grapes come from carefully cultivated hillside vineyards with soils of volcanic rock, basalt and limestone gravel, which give Morillon 2025 its characteristic minerality. The grapes are harvested by hand and left to macerate for around 8 to 20 hours before temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The subsequent ageing in stainless steel tanks preserves the freshness and typical varietal flavours. The wine is filtered and bottled with a screw cap, which preserves its clear style. At 12.5% vol., this Austrian Morillon is balanced, elegant and versatile. The recommended drinking temperature is 10 to 12 °C and the drinking window extends to around 2029.
