Ayala Champagne A/19 Le Blanc de Blancs Extra-Brut Millésime 2019, 12.5% vol., in a 0.75 l bottle, is an exceptional vintage cuvée that showcases the purity and elegance of the Chardonnay grape variety. With A/19, the renowned Champagne house Champagne Ayala presents a modern interpretation of its signature Blanc de Blancs style, thereby emphasising the central role of Chardonnay within the Maison.


The cuvée is made from 100% Chardonnay and comes exclusively from selected Grands Crus and Premiers Crus in the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims. For the 2019 vintage, the six renowned crus of Chouilly, Cramant, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger, Cuis and Vaudemange were selected. In recent years, Chardonnay has proved particularly adaptable to climatic changes and has retained its natural freshness and precise acidity profile. After an average of six years’ maturation on the lees, this 2019 Millésime Champagne develops remarkable complexity and a creamy texture. The low Extra Brut dosage of just 5 g/l residual sugar lends the champagne additional precision and brings out the minerality of the chalky soils with particular clarity. The result is an elegant Blanc de Blancs Champagne that impressively reflects Ayala’s signature style and meets the highest standards of finesse, freshness and terroir.
