Description
The Bosco del Merlo Prosecco Extra Dry Millesimato DOC 2025 11.5% vol. in a 0.75 litre bottle is an elegant and fine-sparkling Prosecco from Italy that delights with its creamy perlage, harmonious fruitiness and lively freshness. Produced by the renowned Bosco del Merlo winery, this high-quality Prosecco DOC Millesimato is made from the Glera and Pinot Grigio grape varieties. The grapes come from the classic Prosecco areas with mineral-rich soils and a particularly favourable microclimate, which offers ideal conditions for aromatic and elegant sparkling wines.
Harvesting takes place in the early hours of the second half of September in order to optimally preserve the freshness and fine aromas of the grapes. After gentle white wine vinification and soft pressing, only the highest quality must is used. Temperature-controlled fermentation at 14-16 °C ensures clear fruit and an elegant structure. Before the second fermentation, an additional 10% Glera must is added, emphasising the typical freshness and finesse of this Extra Dry Prosecco. The second fermentation takes place over two months in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures of 13-14 °C, resulting in a particularly fine and creamy perlage. At 11.5% vol., the Bosco del Merlo Prosecco Extra Dry Millesimato DOC 2025 is balanced, elegant and pleasantly accessible.
